This coffee comes from Arturo Aviles Quiroga, who is a second generation coffee producer in Guadalupe, Huila, Colombia. Arturo's farm, Finca El Silencio, is located in the village of Alta Betania at 1,564 meters above see level. The coffee is picked by hand with the help of 12 seasonal workers and 2 permanent employees. Arturo processes his coffee using dry fermentation in open tanks for 36 hours, followed by solar drying for 20 days to ensure quality and consistency.
