Mustefa Abakeno is a smallholder farmer who owns 18 hectares of land near to Agaro in the Jumma zone in Western Ethiopia. The farm is planted with various indigenous varietals from the Jimma Research Centre. A few years ago, Mustefa registered as an exporter to start selling his coffee directly to international buyers. Mustefa has also set up a small wet mill, where he processes his own coffee as well as that grown buy the neighbouring small farms that usually have a size of 4 to 10 hectares of land each.
This coffee was decaffeinated using Sparkling Water, also known as CO2, process.
This coffee is certified Organic.
